Mold-Dit™ is a uniquely formulated food grade release agent that can also be used as a temporary adhesive or to seal porous surfaces prior to molding. To prevent your object from floating and getting trapped in the silicone, use a thicker layer to temporarily adhere your object to the bottom of your mold box. To seal porous objects and prevent the silicone from sticking to your object, apply Mold-Dit thinly over the object you want to mold with a soft bristled brush. This also helps to make the surface of your object more shiny, which will result in a smooth and shiny mold!
